We provide a range of floristry services - from wedding flowers and funeral tributes to birthday bouquets, flower crowns and Christmas wreaths. All flowers are grown on our micro-flower farm in Soulbury, near Leighton Buzzard

We are delighted to tailor to your requirements, offer advice on what’s in season and provide something unique every time

The garden at Close Cottage is also open for private group visits and in aid of local charities (next open days are 6/7 July 2024)

Seasonal bouquets

Seasonal bouquets can be cut for any budget and will always be delightful - capturing the best of the season in a way that supermarket flowers never can. A lovely way to say ‘thank you’, ‘happy birthday’, ‘congratulations’ or ‘thinking of you’

Farewell flowers

It is always a privilege to be asked to play a small role in a very personal family event and we are pleased to combine flowers from the family garden with our own to achieve a personal touch, if desired

Garden visits and pick your own flowers

The garden at Close Cottage covers about 1.5 acres of a 3 acre plot. From an enclosed patio behind the house, the land rises steeply to a formal garden laid to lawn where the large beds are planted with shrubs, herbaceous perennials and roses. The garden merges into an orchard, with an avenue of cherry trees and wildflower meadow and views to open countryside. Visits can be arranged for local gardening groups, with refreshments provided, or to pick your own sweet peas or dahlias (July/September)

Wedding flowers

Bespoke flowers with a range of options - bouquets and boutonnieres for the bridal party, church and venue flowers, full service or DIY. We will be thrilled to discuss your colour palette and style, and then grow the flowers just for you!

Tutorials, workshops and advice

We run a range of tutorials, demonstrations and practical workshops, 1:1 or for small groups, on topics including how to grow your own cut flowers, designing bouquets, vase and bowl arrangements and decorating your table at Easter and Christmas. Individual consultations are available to assist with garden planting plans, how to dress your house for a party or to help you navigate any specific flower arranging project (from arranging in a favourite vessel to a DIY wedding)
